Samarachi Kodi (Prawns)

Samarachi Kodi is the perfect answer to a rainy day. The name “samarachi” is derived from this “samardem” a circular vessel containing eight small bowls to store each dish, with the Konkani word “kodi” meaning “curry”.
The samarachi kodi was initially reserved to North Goan cuisine, some say samarachi kodi gets its name from samardem. These Indian recipes are very regional in their flavour and method.
